Sadly, while it'd go really well in that Valsperado list with Chrome, Brain Cage, NRE, and even Anarch Cybernetic, that's just too damn many cards to try squeezing together.
Maybe add Paige to get ride of the extra card or two after you install the first of each. Combining the two effectively requires GCS (though Qianju and Josh being "may" triggers makes that a lot less terrible), but that's cheap enough and low-influence, and with Wyldside (and, heck, pop a couple Visages to combo with GCS and help with draws, not like drawing up is the worst ever) it'll be quick enough to set up.
A lot of people already run the Pancake side for two free draws at 6 credits and two cards, Chronotype/Josh/PT is 6 credits on three cards for drawback-free bonus clicks every turn. Maybe.īut, while we're talking about unwieldy combos, why not one that gives you 7 effective clicks/turn? Gene Conditioning Shoppe + Adjusted Chronotype + Wyldside + Joshua B + Qianju PT (+ Rachel Beckmann if you're crazy). The only runner I can think of that appreciates the one credit reduction drop is maaaybe Valencia with desperado and an extra BP. Last, but not least, at that point in your running carreer, having a couple Crash Space (your only solution for dealing with a double Scorched Earth in core)Īlso, personal opinion, but Aesop is your friend (you can sell your Armitage Codebusting that only have two creds left on them for three and no click with, worth keeping in mind). Or some Forged activation Order: that way you can parasite ICE without having to run it first. I like a couple Bank Job myself to punish unprotected remotes. Love the card myself, but in current meta, you're probably better off with something else.
Two I'm not convinced you have the econ for Crypsis in that deck (ok, the Stimhacks, may be enough since it's just a back up solution). Lotus Field can shut your core set fixed suite single handedly. Ok, so, having played a bunch with a core set deck a few fews (months?) ago, one thing I would advise is investing in some Personal Touch. This could advantageously replace it, yes. You mean that card I'd love to play but can't afford in some tag-me decks ? You know, that Ekomind deck seems to take form with cybernetics - Brain Cage fits here like a glove (what I ca, running gives to weird-shaped brains), the high variance of all those uniques can be withstood relatively well because because you don't care that much about taking one or two brain damage if needed, and the cards are useful, but not indispensable. That being said, just because he's working class doesn't make him totally uneducated or stupid. Kim is a particular kind of social engineering guy, with a hands-on meat space approach - as I once said in a previous thread, and it's certainly how we play it with Kim, the drawing on Singularity could just as well be him putting a bomb in the server buildings.
We have our little narrative jokes at the local club for each runner - with, say, Reina Roja (a totally random choice, I swear) having her base modus operandi just waltzing down the corp buildings and staring down every security personnel into submission, Kit the ingénue trying to learn the Anarch ways from Whizzard or Stirling the smug guy that always has a plan - even and especially if it makes no sense, and then spouting fake historical quotes over sipping his from his glass to justify it all. >Am I the only person that finds it weird that Kim, a working class hero/thug, has the ability to function as a runner. Now that I think about it there should probably be links to OCTGN - anyone know where the latest image packs are?
